About us

ISCA Preservation prides itself on being a small company with over 30 years (since 1975) experience in the preservation industry.

We are a member the British Wood Preservation and Damp Proofing Association, and our clients can benefit from the security of guarantees issued by the Guarantee Protection Trust Insurance Ltd., recommended by leading architects, surveyors, building societies and specifiers.

The company has been awarded the Trustmark. TrustMark is a new scheme supported by Government, the building industry and consumer groups to help you find reliable and trustworthy tradespeople to make improvements and repairs to your home. All TrustMark-registered firms are checked and monitored by approved scheme operators, and must comply with their codes of conduct and complaints procedures.

Chris Barratt is a Fellow of the Guild of Incorporated Surveyors, and an Associate of the Institute of Remedial Treatment of Surveyors.

He holds Certificates in Remedial Damp proofing, Timber Infestation Surveying and Health & Safety.

Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (known as COSHH) came fully into force in January 1990, and by law we are obliged to not only protect both our Clients and our Technicians, but also to minimise the use of chemicals in your property.

We take this responsibility very seriously and will therefore prepare quotations on the basis of the COSHH requirement to use the least hazardous materials available, and to use them in a safe manner.

Our chemical supplier, Triton Chemicals Ltd, is a leader in the field of low toxicity chemical manufacturing and their application. Our fully trained technicians use these advanced application techniques and materials to minimise danger to the environment.
