Liquid damp-proof floor membranes

Project 1 - treating a new concrete floor which was installed without a
damp proof membrane, allowing water penetration and salting.

Water penetration and salting can be clearly seen.

Water had pushed up a self-levelling screed.

Tanking system including plastering work completed and the wall/floor joint sealed, including discrepancies within the concrete floor.

Floor then received 3 coats of epoxy resin, providing a waterproof membrane to the concrete.

Finished job.

The screed was completely removed from the floor, and a wall/floor joint was cut into the floor to form a link to the tanking system for the brickwork.
