Platon Plaster Base

Studded membrane for direct plastering

Platon Plaster Base is a 5 mm studded cavity drain membrane manufactured from high-density polyethylene. The unique feature of Plaster Base is the stud design. Each stud is undercut, which creates a mechanical key for plasters or renders.

Plaster Base is a single component product and does not have a mesh or fabric bonded to the surface. This makes cutting, fixing and sealing a more straightforward process. Plaster Base can be applied above or below ground level, and is supplied in a clear/translucent colour. The substrate is visible through the membrane making fixing more precise.

Plaster Base is suitable for use with sand & cement renders, lightweight and gypsum based plasters. Plaster Base can be used in conjunction with other Platon membranes.
