ISCA Preservation of Yeoford has been accepted as a member of the Property Care Association (a division of the British Wood Preserving and Damp Proofing Association). The company now appears in the list of members in the area available on the BWPDA website or on request from the Association. The BWPDA is the largest association of its kind in Europe and is a nationally recognised authority on timber and damp problems. In gaining membership, ISCA Preservation has demonstrated high standards of workmanship, management systems and knowledge of safety and environmental legislation, and has provided evidence of financial soundness. Remedial contractors displaying the Property Care Association and/or BWPDA logos have a satisfactory trading history, have been inspected by BWPDA technical staff and are audited on an ongoing basis. Uniquely, PCA members can also offer clients the option of Guarantee Protection Insurance, which backs up long-term guarantee cover even if the company ceases to trade during the period of the guarantee. The BWPDA is recognised by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and the National Association of Estate Agents, and its members are regularly updated on techniques, product developments, safety matters and new legislation.
